BSBWHS411 - Implement and monitor WHS policies, procedures and programs


This course equips participants in supervisory and management roles, as well as those aspiring to these positions, with the skills and knowledge to identify, assess, control, and monitor workplace risks. Learners will develop practical expertise in consulting with workers and stakeholders to implement and oversee workplace safety policies, procedures, and programs. Designed for individuals contributing to WHS risk management, the course covers key areas such as hazard identification, risk assessment, and applying effective risk controls in compliance with WHS legislation and organisational policies and procedures.

Course Durations

Course durations can vary for multiple reasons, so the durations below are the minimum possible amount.

Face-to-Face Face to Face contact time of at least 8 Hours

An individual undertaking this course with Allens Training Pty Ltd will need to demonstrate the following to be eligible for entry:

  • Physical capability to communicate with a range of people about WHS requirements and compliance

Individuals undertaking this course will be expected to complete both written and practical assessment tasks.

Documentation – The student must complete all documentation according to the required standard:

  • WHS Induction Pack and Delivery Form
  • Training Needs Analysis and Completion
  • Risk Assessment Form
  • Risk Register and Control Implementation
  • Inadequacies Report and Monitoring Outcomes Form
  • Incident Report and Record-Keeping Form

Theory assessment -   A written assessment consisting of short-answer and multiple-choice questions. The student must complete all assessment questions.
