RIIERR301E - Respond to worksite incidents

Are you ready to take on the critical role of an Emergency Responder and ensure safety on your work site? This hands-on course equips you with the skills and knowledge to respond effectively to work site incidents and establish forward control points in the dynamic resources, industrial and infrastructure industries.

Designed for operational workers, this course will immerse you in real-world emergency response scenarios. You'll work in teams, plan and test rescue procedures, and develop risk mitigation strategies to prevent incidents before they occur. As part of an emergency response team (ERT), you'll learn how to conduct worksite inspections, identify hazards, and adapt to changing situations using a variety of response equipment.

By the end of the course, you’ll be prepared to confidently lead your team in planning and enacting emergency responses tailored to specific work site challenges. This is a must for anyone looking to enhance their capabilities in safety and incident management.

Please note: Due to the advanced nature of this course, participants must have prior experience or currently be employed in the resources, industrial and/or infrastructure industries.
