Half day nominal - 10 people

This course has been designed in consultation with industry, Government & trade Unions and is applicable to all personnel who are required to work from or use Swing stages for a range of workplace tasks, or for those required to supervise or manage others working from, or using, Swing stages in the workplace. This course addresses planning, risk management, routine safety & operational checks, unpowered descent, and emergency response for using Swing stages and associated equipment. Training is contextualised for construction and maintenance workers.

This course can be delivered/assessed in the workplace or at facility organised by the training provider.

Course Durations

Course durations can vary for multiple reasons, so the durations below are the minimum possible amount.

Face-to-Face Face to Face contact time of at least 4 Hours

Note: QLD has regulated Swing stage user training requirements which this course does not fulfil

White card for applicable State or Territory

Current First aid training (within 3 years)

Current Work safely at heights training (within 3 years)

Hard hat / Helmet lanyard

Glasses lanyard

Gloves

Hi vis shirt , long pants 

Safety boots or shoes

Physical fitness to allow access to and from Swing stage

Basic metric numeracy to identify load plans and assess weights of tools , equipment and items/debris removed from building or structure

Course is delivered in written and spoken English.
